Easter Blessings

This Easter we had the wonderful blessing of being with family. Grandma had a fun Easter hunt and then the grandkids made cards to take over to Kiersten's grave site. Their little messages to her were so touching. It was so peaceful there. I loved watching the kids. I saw such peace come over them at the cemetery. What a blessing to know of the plan of salvation, to know that we can be reunited as families forever, all because of our elder brother Jesus Chris, His infinate Atonement and resurection from the dead!

On Sunday morning we were able to listen to Ryan's talk. (He is my nephew who just returned from his mission in Canada.) That was wonderful to see the growth in him and listen to his testimony. At home, because it was such a beautiful day, Austin gave our Easter Lesson out on the trampoline and he told the story of Jesus raising Jarius's daughter from the dead. I was so touched by his testimony of the story. It was so fitting for the Easter Sunday. The sun was shinning and peace was there. Afterwards we layed on the trampoline and picked out shapes in the fluffy clouds and counted our blessings. I loved this Easter and didn't want it to end!

The week before Easter was so peaceful as well. We were able to listen to General Conference. I loved every talk and wished it could continue!!! If you didn't get to watch conference and just listened to it like we did you can watch the Easter message from Elder Holland here. It is so very touching. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EpFhS0dAduc Or just scroll down to the bottom of the screen and watch it here.
